In roughly 536 AD, people who had been using the Elder Futhark for centuries, suddenly began shifting to a much smaller alphabet. For clarity the Elder futhark was a runic alphabet with 24 distinct runes that represented phonetic sounds. Some time around 535 - 536 AD we began to see a drastic shift, where ⅓ of the alphabet was just deleted from common usage. These alphabets were used from Tuscany up to Finland, and across the UK for centuries.
Experts attribute this to a shift in languages, and say that the people no longer needed the other phonetic sounds of the 8 missing runes. This in my opinion is utter bull shit, and there is not any type of linguistic indicator to support that claim. In fact, there is actually evidence that directly contradicts those claims, but we will get into that a bit later. First I want to note the fact, that the runes we now know as the Elder Futhark from Germania and Scandinavia, were lost to history until 1865. Before this time, and throughout recorded history we had previously only run across examples of the Younger Futhark. Then much later in the early 1900’s we found and pieced together another distinct but related set, now referred to as the Futhorc in England.
The Futhorc runes varied in number from 22 - 26 through the ages, but it appears that they never lost the third of their alphabet that the Futhark did. It has now been shown that the Futhorc was still being used between the 6th and 12th centuries, by the Anglo, Saxon, and Frisian immigrants, even centuries after their arrival. The common alphabet among the Picts, and Celts in Ireland, England, and Wales through much of the 4th - 6th centuries was Ogham, but the religious leaders like shaman and druids used the Futhorc. While at this same time in central Europe the Futhark was undergoing drastic changes.
The contradiction to the language shift that was mentioned earlier is this. The languages were only growing at this time, and that was primarily due to the Roman advances into their lands. They were beginning to use more phonetic sounds, and not less. So the “expert theory” that the language got smaller is total nonsense. Even the invading forces had alphabets that were larger than 16 characters, like the 23 character latin alphabet that was used at that time. Even the modern Roman alphabet (English) itself is comprised of 26. So again, that theory is just questionable at best, and at worst is a narrative designed to hide a larger truth. A “new” truth about our history that was first started in the dawn of Catholicism.
The biggest possibility, and the one that is most supported by a mutually agreed evidence, is that 2 huge events unfolded at roughly the same time. The first was a wave of crusades by the Roman emperor Justinian I. It had recently been made legal for any Christian to murder pagan folks and take their land. Any pagan writings, idols, sacred sites, or altars were to be destroyed. The second thing, was a set of major volcanic eruptions, (Ragnarok) that blanketed the known world in darkness for a period of roughly 18 - 24 months. Both of these events had devastating effects that rippled across the region. Many of the farms the Christians took, had fallen into ruin. It was too dangerous for them to stay and farm them because of raids by other neighboring pagan Tribes. This was all happening at a time when the food was already becoming scarce due to the volcanic eruptions.
Needless to say, the folks using the Elder futhark would have either been migrating across Europe to preserve their traditions, or self converting and dropping the old traditions. Thus leaving the runes, and the teachings of their old gods behind. This was Ragnarok, just read Voluspa and the parallels are too great to ignore. The people turning on each other, the moral flip in society, the blacking out of the sun, it's all there in Voluspa. At this same point in history 536 - 540 AD many changes were happening, but the language becoming more simple and streamlined was not one of them.
Do you agree with, or trust the “experts” historical narrative?
Thank you for reading, and coming back for more. You are part of the greatest moments in recorded history, and the Old Gods will all recognize your thirst for knowledge, order, and understanding. 🤘 😁
