This Summer...
Is it going to be wild or mild?
With all of the talk of rioting over the rumor of a pardon of Derek Chauvin, will this summer pop off like the 2020 “summer of love” riots?
The pardon is just a rumor, and there is no real source for the origin, but there are precautions already being made in some U.S. cities anyways. So, the question here is…
Will there be insanity or not, and if there is, does it spill out of the metropolitan areas into middle America? If America is distracted with internal conflict, does World War 3 break out?
Between May and August of 2020 Americans saw some of the most insane riots in our countries history. During this period entire areas of cities were taken over and claimed as independent nations. Remember the “CHAZ” or Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone in Seattle, Washington. Don't worry, most people forgot about that craziness. With all of the insanity that has happened since then, the flood of content has pushed it to the far reaches of your memory. Fortunately the internet exists, so things like that, and the 05/29 insurrection will be remembered. WHAT!! You have never heard of the 05/29 insurrection, where BLM protestors set fire to the St. Johns Cathedral, burned down a guard outpost for Capitol Police, and injured dozens of the Capitol Police in the process. Well that's actually not surprising. Most News sources posted headlines like “U.S. President Cowers In Bunker” and the best one of all was done by NPR, saying that Trump Tear Gassed Church Goers For a Photo Op.
They (rioters) had set fire to St. Johns Church, and Fire Trucks could not get into the area, so police were sent to clear the streets. Yes they did deploy teargas, but these were not peaceful protestors. They were burning down guard shacks, and setting fire to historic churches. The images are burned into some of our memories. By some, I mean the people who were exposed to the real footage, and not ABC, CNN, or NPR coverage of the riots.
Remember they repeated their term for rioters over and over, “Mostly Peaceful Protestors” and it became a joke to a large portion who actually pay attention to both sides of the news.
So, What Do You Think Will Happen This Coming Summer ??
Will they free Derek Chauvin, or maybe even Karmelo Anthony or even both of them, and trigger some type of new Race Riots.
Pray to Odin and Tyr that we see Order and Justice this summer, rather than another season of Chaos and Destruction.
